2020 Exhibits, a global leader in the creative and strategic design and production of exhibits, events, environments, and signage, was recognized as a finalist in four categories for EXHIBITOR Magazine’s sixth annual PORTABLE MODULAR AWARDS, winning a top prize for their creative and compelling exhibit design for Autodesk. 2020 Exhibits was also named to EXHIBITOR magazine’s Top 40 list of exhibit producers.
The Portable/Modular Awards honor design excellence in portable, modular, and system exhibits. The competition is judged by an international panel of marketing and design experts evaluating entries based on their aesthetics, functionality, and innovation.
2020 Exhibits was awarded the Portable Modular Award for top design in the ‘Best Use of Fabric’ category for Autodesk. The 40’ x 50’ exhibit design for Autodesk at IMTS is as distinctive as it is functional. With strategic precision and symmetry, this exhibit artfully incorporates eye-catching fabric, compelling angles, and the Autodesk Edge, a highly recognizable and distinctive brand element that reinforces this leading brand’s design principals. The Autodesk Edge soars high above the sightline and commands attention, like a beacon in the night, from far and wide across the show flow. Functional and inviting, the space offers an easy and comfortable flow, with seating throughout for presentations and engagement. The exhibit environment is light, bright, and open throughout, with Autodesk’s rich blue, gray, and green brand elements uniting and enriching the overall experience. Swaths of crisp white fabric draw the eye to the space, with solid branding and messaging capturing attention, and marking Autodesk’s prominent position in the marketplace.
“Making a strong, bold impact and brand statement at IMTS is vitally important for us,” said Mary Shaw, Global Demand Generation Manager for Autodesk. “And this fully branded environment delivers in spades. It is eye-catching and edgy, with our impactful and compelling Autodesk branding and brand elements taking center stage. You simply couldn’t miss this booth. Traffic and engagement were high throughout the show, generating excitement, buzz, and brand awareness for Autodesk in manufacturing.” Randi Tanner, Autodesk Marketing Specialist, added, “With clean lines and purposeful dimension, this exhibit is a show-stopper. It’s undeniable, Autodesk made an unforgettable impression and an indelible mark at IMTS.”
Exhibitor Media Group also named 2020 Exhibits as one of its 2019 Find It – Top 40, which honors the industry’s top exhibit producers.
More than 100 exhibit houses with offices in the United States and/or Canada applied and were subjected to an exhaustive evaluation process including more than 50 individual criteria, all weighted to reflect how EXHIBITOR readers and Editorial Advisory Board members value them when vetting and selecting potential partners.
The myriad criteria considered were categorized into five primary areas:
- Company and Capabilities
- Honors and Awards
- Thought Leadership and Industry Participation
- Service and Reliability
- Creativity and Key Differentiators
The evaluation process also included a survey of current clients and a review of entrants’ past projects, selling points, and innovations, conducted by corporate exhibit managers.
