2020 Exhibits is pleased and honored to win its first ever gia Booth Design Award for its works with Jars USA. The Excellence in Booth Design Award is recognized as part of the IHA Global Innovation Awards (gia). The awards honor exhibitors that have shown creativity in design, merchandising and messaging. A distinguished panel of visual merchandising experts walked the aisles and reviewed exhibit booths to select the winners. The organizers and global sponsors of the gia award programs are the International Housewares Association and the International Home + Housewares Show.
The overall objective was to deliver an organic yet polished experience, much like the JARS product line. Branding would be minimal at best, unlike the more typical trade show experience. Introductions would be made, with the business of business happening outside of the exhibit hall at a more informal gathering or meal. The space would be curved and arched, with a retail look and feel. Materials were on brand, with the use of natural, light woods and simple press board. Products were displayed against an organic material, also known as hay. There would be no technology (too impersonal), limited seating (all of two comfortable chairs, tableside, should a buyer chose to sit and chat awhile. Branded was decidedly and strategically minimal, to catch the eye but invite closer view an inspection. The bright, light material set the stage as a backdrop for the Jars hand crafted logo. Pops of color are see in the artful pottery, catching the eye and opening the door for conversation. In a word, lovely.
Wayfinding can be defined as using organized sensory cues in design elements to help a building or public place's branding, orientation, and overall environment. If applied correctly, it can enhance the user experience, providing a welcoming and inspiring venue for clients, employees, and guests.
A building's aesthetics play a big part in representing a company. With the right elements, you can convey the right brand message and create the targeted ambiance that draws the desired effect.

When our teams brainstorm how to generate the biggest buzz on the trade show floor, activations are an excellent choice. That said, the activation’s gotta bring sizzle, not fizzle. It needs to capture the crowd’s interest, draw them in, and make them stay awhile. Only then will it have a great shot at helping you win over potential customers.
