2020 Exhibits was honored outstanding creative at the Exhibitor Magazine’s third annual PORTABLE MODULAR AWARDS. Honoring design excellence in portable, modular and systems, 2020 Exhibits was awarded the top prize in the Technology Category for their work with Weir Oil & Gas. This is the third Portable Modular Award win for 2020 Exhibits and the second year in a row the company has earned top spot in the Technology Award category. 2020 Exhibits was selected from a record number of entries submitted to the competition’s 11 categories.
The Portable / Modular Awards recognize modular exhibit design and are the industry’s preeminent competition for creators of portable and systems-based exhibits and event structures. Judged by a highly esteemed group of marketing design experts, awards were named and presented to leaders in the portable, modular and custom exhibit industry, all in Las Vegas for ExhibitorLIVE! the industry’s preeminent trade show for marketing and tradeshow experts.
Recognizing the innovative and effective use of technology or technological components within an exhibit environment, the judges found an impressive Technology Category winner the WEIR Oil & Gas Offshore Technology Conference (OTC2015) experience. Working in collaboration Weir Oil & Gas team, 2020 Exhibits focused on creating an environment with a decidedly technological approach. The design team collaborated with the Weir to showcase Weir’s global business while recognizing the power and prominence of a singular brand. Key objectives included interaction and engagement, while providing ample space for one-on-one conversation and comfortable flow. Positioning Weir as the “go to” resource for ongoing information, education and solutions, the environment featured products and solutions in an organized, visually interesting, easily recognized and crisp, polished environment.
The answer for Weir was found on the big screen with massive 2 x 3 video wall showcasing their service know-how worldwide. This engaging and interactive touch-screen, was complimented by a 90” screen, theatre-style, and one 1 x 3 tower. Multi-tasking as per usual, attendees could charge their mobiles while traveling through the WEIR journey. For #WeirKnowHow, there was no passport needed.
