Receptionist / Administrator On-Site Houston Office
At 2020 Exhibits, the receptionist will help to create an environment and culture that supports our mission of providing exceptional client service. We are currently seeking an enthusiastic professional who can rise to the challenge of this full-time role. The best candidate will be a highly detail-oriented and personable multitasker with prior experience in a fast-paced office setting. He or she must possess resourcefulness, organization, and stellar communication skills.
Schedule: Full time/M-F
Location: On-site
Responsibilities/Duties:
- Serve as the first impression of our business, welcoming visitors, responding to requests, and supporting coworkers
- Open and close the front office each day
- Manage telecommunications systems
- Handle queries via phone, email, and general correspondence
- Assist with client and internal meetings
- Prepare conference rooms for meetings and organize catering as requested
- Maintain client areas clean and organized
- Wipe down/sanitize all tables and counters in café and conference rooms
- Oversee standard office equipment and supplies, such as printer, ink/toner, paper, etc., and report any malfunctions to the appropriate person or department
- Additional duties as requested
Requirements:
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word, and Outlook
- More than five years of administrative experience (a plus)
- Excellent organizational and communication skills
- Maintain a clean and tidy professional appearance
- Maintain integrity and confidentiality
- Must be a team player as well as capable of working on their own
- Must possess initiative and ability to work in a dynamic and challenging environment
- Adept at prioritizing, scheduling, and multitasking
- Ability to handle office equipment (e.g., telephone system, printer, and fax machine)
- Must be a fast and eager learner with a customer-driven mindset
